Competition day can be filmed at our own gym, or join us at Strength Block to compete head to head.
This event is open to ALL levels of experience. If you’re a veteren to the platform, get involved to inspire others. If you’ve never done anything like this, don’t panic, we’ll be active on the community chat to help out and provide coaching insights along the way.

How it Works

THE RULES
We’re Keeping it Chill
We don't have to stick to any federation's rules - this contest is all about having fun, making progress, breaking personal records, and lifting some heavy iron!
Bench Press
Max weight lifted
Touch and go bench - as long as it hits your chest, and locks out at the top, you're good
Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, or whatever you want to wear is all good!
Feet however you want.
Deadlift
Max weight lifted
Conventional or sumo - if you want to get weird and jefferson or behind the back deadlift, we'll allow it.
Has to be locked out at the top
Straps are fine - don't let weak forearms stop you from hitting something heavy
Trap bar*? Why not.
Chalk, caffeine, ammonia and candy is encouraged.
*If you choose to do this, it's for your own personal goals - we can't add it into our scoring unfortunately!
HOW SCORING WORKS
We will be using the Wilks formula to figure out how everyone places. This formula adds up the amount of weight lifted against your bodyweight and multiplies it by a coefficient to give you a score. I know, sounds confusing, but it allows us to have everyone compete on an even playing field without having to worry about weight classes.
