The 10,000 Kettlebell Swing Challenge is a 30-day program that dares you to defy your limits. Crafted by the esteemed coach Dan John, this program has you performing 20 workouts over a span of 4 to 6 weeks. Each session includes 500 kettlebell swings and low volume compound movements, divided into manageable clusters with varying rep schemes.

I have always been quite sceptical about "30-day challenges" - I think that they often over-promise results, and when they do deliver, they do it in a manner that is completely unsustainable for the participant. By the end of the 30 days, the participant is exhausted, starving, and with no direction to head next. Their results may be great because of their hard work but ultimately they'll just rebound back to their starting point in a matter of months.
While the 10,000 kettlebell swing challenge is over 30 days and produces incredible transformative results, I see it as a bridge program - it sets you up to tackle what you want to do next. Want to enter a strength and power program? The high-volume swings and low-volume compound lifts have primed your nervous system and given you a strong core to dominate your next PB. Looking to build muscle? Your work capacity is through the roof and you have built a big enough engine to handle almost any high-volume plan.
While my physical transformation was awesome, what was even better was my performance in the next training program (which there are many in the Strength Block app) - the challenge gave me a good break from max effort lifts and set me up to conquer the next training goal!
